Für ein international erfolgreiches Pharmaunternehmen in Oberschwaben suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Eintritt, zunächst im Rahmen der ANÜ

• You are responsible for executing genomics- and transcriptomics in-vitro, in-vivo and ex-vivo experiments for various therapeutic areas (inflammation, neuroscience, oncology, cancer immunology, cardiometabolic and respiratory diseases).
• You are responsible for running next generation sequencing (NGS) experiments (e.g., sample QC and NGS library preparation) within the group executing high and low throughput NGS library strategies (e.g., bulk RNA-seq, single-cell applications, spatial transcriptomics), and reporting QC results.
• You work together with technicians/research scientists and execute RNA/DNA wetlab quality control and library preparation for bulk NGS studies as well as cell/nuclei wetlab quality control and library preparation for single-cell genomics.

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Genetics, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field with several years of research- and NGS experience, preferably in the biotechnology- and / or pharmaceutical industry
• Practical experience in the design, development, validation and execution of genomics experiments (e.g. bulk transcriptomics, single-cell/nuclei RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics)
• Experience with RNA / DNA extraction and nuclei isolation from tissues and cells as well and preferably the cultivation of mammalian cell lines / primary cells from various species
• Ability to work independently to design, execute, and report on experiments and to collaborate with multicultural project teams
• Excellent team player with strong time management and organizational skills paired with the ability to communicate across different hierarchies and cultures
